Not only is my 135is by far the smallest vehicle in this lineup, it also has the lowest sticker price. (That's !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! on the left.)

People drive these hideous contraptions as cars?

So instead of a door ding they'll just rip your mirrors off!
Also, this must be how the Germans felt during WW2.

Damn that Ram tho.
I also never noticed how small the 1-series is.

Believe it or not, BMWs are the only things some people will drive. I don't get it either.

That's the smallest one ford makes.
Quite a few people dd the f450 around my town, with scattered internationals about too.

As far as I know both of the pickups are daily drivers.
I wouldn't do it, but I figure they're not any worse than someone driving a performance car that gets roughly equivalent fuel economy.
Full disclosure: I've got an old Jeep Grand Cherokee that I daily drive in the winter, and use for assorted hauling the rest of the year. Its mileage is...not good.

On my drive last sunday a bro truck pulled in next to me on the drivers side, just as a I was about to pull out. I was like: "well hello there". It was weirder than it shouldve been

It's about the same size as, say, a late-model Honda Civic coupe. Just that the top of the roof is about even with the top of the beds on these 1/4-ton pickups.

Except a performance car in infinitely more fun to drive.

One reason I love being in Europe. The 1er seems normal and a truck is a gigantic monstrosity that can't really go much of anywhere.

This happened to me in my 128i just the other day! I knew I should have taken a picture.

I mean, I used to grumble about people driving bigass trucks when they don't use their truckyness and could be commuting around in something smaller. But the typical full-size pickup truck gets the same mileage as a Mercedes S65 AMG, and I don't grumble about people driving S65 AMGs. Driving a twin-turbo V12 luxobarge in a land of 55 mph speed limits is equally as pointless as driving a full-size pickup truck as a commuter vehicle. So if I don't grumble about the S65 AMG, why should I grumble about a pickup truck, when the only difference is I'd personally drive an S65 AMG and not a pickup truck?

Good guy Tony pulls over far enough that you won't scratch his door and he can back out of his spot with ease.

He parked there first. Pretty sure he just aimed for the curb. But I did pick the space because of the wide berth remaining for my small (but long-doored) car.

I submit to you: the most ridiculous parking buddies in my town. The Smart would have fit, literally, inside the bed. Amazing to see these next to each other, in person. Both arrived with the same amount of cargo (2 people).

Each to his own. Personally I wouldn't take one free - but then I don't have near-free fuel, anywhere I could park one or indeed any use for one.
